Tina's tUpdates

Welcome to ... Tina's "tUpdates"! (I couldn't find anything that started with "T" that meant "updates/notifications", hence the lame title)

So...just wanted to tell you guys about a few things...
  • First of all...I've joined Goodreads! Yay~ I'm still fumbling my way through it, so feel free to add me as a friend. I need all the help and explanation I can get. Anyone willing? My profile is here.

  • I still haven't recovered from the glory of "The Hunger Games", and I've discovered that there's a "The Hunger Games" game on Facebook here. There's only 200 people on it at this very moment, which is surprising, considering the fanbase.
The link to the actual game is here.

  • Talking about Facebook, I've got a blog-dedicated profile here: Tina's facebook. So excited! Please add me. ;)

  • Then I went and made a Twitter, because I'm so into social networking at the moment. It's here, but I'm new to twitter, so I'll need all the help I can get. Please add me, or follow me, or whatever it is - I'm eager to follow you back.

  • On a very important side note: Australia is bating it's breath for the next Prime Minister.

    Tony Abbott
    Julia Gillard

             Julia Gillard and Tony Abbott

Tony

Julia and ex-PM Kevin

Betrayer vs Beach Boy

Who do you think it'll be? Our current first female PM, Julia Gillard, or Opposition Leader Tony Abbott?

♥▬▬▬๑۩ Happy reading, Tina ۩๑▬▬▬▬♥

You've been quick! 3 mins - that's got to be a record.
I can't vote yet. :( But I hope you ended up somewhat happy with whoever you chose. :)

Tell me when you get a twitter, will you?

Hi Tina,

Yeah, I think you're right in that having alternating 1st-person characters allows each author to really shape a character from his/her own perspective. Makes the collaboration process a bit easier perhaps!

I don't have a full review of Sorcery & Cecelia but it's one of the books I recommend in my first blog post here . If you like Victorian England, fantasy and/or strong female heroines, you will enjoy it!

Wow, you've been busy. I haven't gotten around to joining Twitter or Goodreads yet so I can't offer any advice except to see it through!

Good luck with you ventures!
