In My Mailbox #1

Today I stumbled upon a meme hosted by Kristi at The Story Siren, inspired by Alea at Pop Culture Junkie. It's a weekly meme where bloggers post about books they've gotten that week, and everyone who participates visits each other's post and leaves comments.

Their blogs are great, and they seem to be really nice people. I thought it was a great idea for a new blogger like me, and so I decided to participate! Yipee!

Yesterday, I did a post almost like this one. But I received some new books at the awesome hangout that is my local library, so I figured it wouldn't be too repetitive.

Books I got:

- Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Book 6: And Another Thing by Eoin Colfer

- Percy Jackson 4: Battle of the Labyrinth by Rick Riordan

- Percy Jackson 5: The Last Olympian by Rick Riordan

- Saving Francesca by Melina Marchetta

- The Declaration by Gemma Malley

What did you get? And have you read any of these yet?

Happy Reading, and welcome to my blog!

xoxo Tina

@ Rikki: Yep, you should! It's a bit addictive though, so get ready. ;)

@ Kirsty: The Declaration *is* good. I'm progressively making my way through it. How did you like The Resistance?

@ Nomes: Can't wait to get started. Melina Marchetta's a beautiful writer.

I have not read any of your picks but than again my taste is a bit different as my "Adult" paranormals and mysteries and romances are geared towards my age group . I do like YA books just mostly have them in my To Be Read shelves and will get to them when want something lighter than my dark Urban Fantasy or Paranormal Romance that I usually devour....

My Mailbox post

@ Kaya: Did you like The Declaration? I loved it, and just posted a review. Eagerly anticipating "The Resistance".

@ the Kams: :D I loved it too!! Yippee!

@ Jackie: Your blog is wonderful. I'm glad that you enjoy YA books even though you're an adult now.
I like the fact that YA books can also be anjoyed by adults. I still have memories of all the Middle Grade books I used to read, and although I find them less invigorating, I still love the stories, the character and the imagination. ^^

@Christina T: Percy Jackson 1-3 is really good (which is all I read so far). Have you seen the movie? And if so, did you enjoy it?

@ Lori: Thank you! Hope you have a lovely week of reading too. And I'e checked out your Mailbox - great haul! Hope you see my comment. ;)

@Kaitlyn - Mmm, agree! Hte movie was great. And Percy was very cute! <3

I'm going to committ the ultimate crime of double posting, because I didn't want blogger to accidentally delete my comment. ><

@Jules:
Your blog is great, I like it! And I love the name. ;) I also like that you've made "In My Mailbox" something that uniquely suits your blog. (responded also at your post)

@ A Simple Love of Reading:
No problem! And thank you for dropping by too. I hope you have a fantastic time reading. :)

@ pussreboots: Can I just say that I love your username? And "A book review a day" sure brings everyone your way. XD

@ -K: Thank you! I'm loving what I'm reading so far. But I do confess, I read it after I saw the movie, but it's still great. :)

@Kah Woei: Thank you! Have you watched the movie? I loved the books too! And I love your blog. ^-^
