Waiting On Wednesday (15/12)

Waiting on Wednesday is hosted by Jill at Breaking the Spine, where bloggers can spotlight and share "upcoming releases that we're eagerly anticipating".
I've got two this week, and they're both debut January 2011 releases that I'm really pumped for.

In the beginning, there's a boy standing in the trees. . .

Clara Gardner has recently learned that she's part angel. Having angel blood run through her veins not only makes her smarter, stronger, and faster than humans (a word, she realizes, that no longer applies to her), but it means she has a purpose, something she was put on this earth to do. Figuring out what it is, though, isn't easy.

Her visions of a raging forest fire and an alluring stranger lead her to a new school in a new town. When she meets Christian, who turns out to be the boy of her dreams (literally), everything seems to fall into place--and out of place, at the same time. Because there's another guy, Tucker, who appeals to Clara's less angelic side.

As Clara tries to find her way in a world she no longer understands, she encounters unseen dangers and choices she never thought she'd have to make--between honesty and deciet, love and duty, good and evil. When the fire from her vision finally ignites, will Clara be ready to face her destiny?
My name is Meaghan Chase.

I thought it was over. That my time with the fey, the impossible choices I had to make, the sacrifices of those I loved, was behind me. But a storm is approaching, an army of Iron fey that will drag me back, kicking and screaming. Drag me away from the banished prince who's sworn to stay by my side. Drag me into the core of a conflict so powerful, I'm not sure anyone can survive it.

This time, there will be no turning back.
What are you waiting on this week? Leave a link below so I can check it out!

ive read the iron queen (fantastic!) and im currently reading unearthly, it is really good too.
hope you enjoy them when you get to read them!
That cover of Unearthly looks gorgeous! It is better than the US cover, I think. Hehe. Unearthly and The Iron Queen are two of my most anticipated books of 2011.
I think I actually PREFER the AUS cover of Unearthly. Though I love purple. This is probably going to be one of those titles I need to buy two versions of. :P

WOW! It's out in shops already? Nomes--have you seen any other Jan releases already in shops? I don't go shopping all that often. I think we'll be going Christmas shopping next week. XD

Fab choices, Tina. :) And sorry for not commenting often enough. 30 degrees today = blergh.
I can't wait for The Iron Queen as well, I mean the ending of The Iron Daughter, crap me, so good! Unearthly looks good too, I haven't heard much about it. Great picks Tina :)
I'm reading The Iron Queen right now and loving it, can't wait for Unearthly I heard it's amazing. Great picks! =)
I love this version of the cover of Unearthly. Wow. Another angel book. But I can't resist. I know I'll be reading it! Nice pick. Thanks so much for your kind words about my site. You're awesome too!
Hi There!
I'm here from WoW and also from the Newbie blog hop! I'm an old follower and I just wanted to say hi! I love the design of your blog....so colorful and creative. Drop by my blog anytime and say hi!
I can't decide which cover of Unearthly is prettier. They're both so gorgeous. I haven't started the Iron Fey series yet, but I'm looking forward to it! Nice picks.
I really enjoyed Unearthly and I'm looking forward to the Iron Queen. I still have to read the Iron Daughter but maybe it will be better if I wait and read it right before the next book comes out.

I'm looking forward to both of these! I have Unearthly on my review list, but I'm waiting to read it for the 2k11 Debut Author Challenge. I love the cover. I like it better than the other one. The Iron Fey is a great series. The Iron Queen is on my list, too. Here's my WoW.
Unearthly looks very interesting and I am definitely waiting for Iron Queen. Great picks!

They both look great! I have been meaning to read the series from Kagawa. My WoW is at Coffee Table Press
How to Knit a Heart Back Home
By Rachael Herron
Publication date: March 1, 2011

Lucy Harrison sells books by day and volunteers with the Cypress Hollow fire department by night. Her life is just the way she likes it—full, even-keeled, and smooth—until bad-boy ex-cop Owen Bancroft comes back to town. Lucy has always been fearless, never scared about diving in to help others. When it comes to risking her heart, however, she realizes she's absolutely terrified.

In a small town like Cypress Hollow, everyone knows your business—and there is nowhere to hide. Then Lucy and Owen are thrown together by the discovery of the lost work of local legend, knitting guru Eliza Carpenter. Now Owen, adrift and struggling to redefine himself as a civilian without a badge, will have to learn how to open himself up to life's new possibilities . . . while Lucy decides just how much of herself she's willing to gamble on love.
I really enjoyed Unearthly. I hope you love Tucker as much as I did!
fabulous picks! looks really good. Merry Christamas and Happy Reading :)
